Haste Arcade: Social Media Identity & Templates

  • The core objective was to establish a high-frequency, instantly recognizable visual identity across platforms like X (Twitter) and Discord, enabling the marketing team to deploy fast-paced campaigns essential for capitalizing on volatile news cycles in the competitive crypto and arcade gaming space.

  • The Discovery phase focused on auditing the existing brand ecosystem and understanding the necessary competitive rhythm of the Web3 gaming landscape.

    We performed a deep-dive into Haste Arcade’s existing brand assets (logo usage, color palettes, core typography) to establish strict boundaries for the social templates. This ensured that the new assets would be an extension of the brand, not a departure.

    We analyzed the social media presences of leading Web3 gaming platforms and major cryptocurrency exchanges. The goal was to identify successful visual strategies for:

    • Attention-Grabbing: Use of high-contrast colors and kinetic typography.

    • Trust Building: Clear data presentation and official/audited tones for financial updates.

    We collaborated with the marketing team to define four critical post categories, each requiring a distinct template variant:

    1. Campaign / Announcement: High-impact, bold colors (e.g., new game launch).

    2. Token / Price Update: Clear, chart-based, professional, and data-focused.

    3. Community / Testimonial: Focus on user-generated content and social proof.

    4. Educational / Utility: Simple, clean layouts explaining tokenomics or governance.

  • We created a set of Smart Templates where key elements were defined as interchangeable components:

    • Fixed Zones: Defined areas for the logo, background texture (arcade glow), and legal disclaimer.

    • Variable Components: Dropdown menus for color overlays and pre-set type styles (H1, H2, body) that respect the brand's specified font hierarchy for quick text replacement.

    To address the need for speed, we designed a high-contrast visual system:

    • Color Use: Defined a rule for using the primary brand color for all CTAs and highlights, ensuring maximum visibility even in fast-scrolling feeds.

    • Visual Rhythm: Established a grid system for all templates to ensure visual elements (text blocks, game screenshots, token icons) always snap into alignment, reducing design time from hours to minutes.

    A microcopy and tone-of-voice guide was developed for the templates, ensuring that the same visual style could successfully deliver both "High Score Alert!" (Gamer Focus) and "New APY Rate" (Token Holder Focus).
